The TechDiversity Program is one of Australia’s leading DEI organisations promoting diversity across disability, gender, LGBTIQ+, neurodiversity within Tech organisations. We believe in a future where ALL people are valued; empowering individuals, organisations and communities to thrive across the Australian technology sector.
Our focus is to grow Australia’s tech workforce through diversity, equity & inclusion; working collaboratively with the education, business, not for profit and government sectors.
With substantial growth and an accelerated profile after 6 years of dedicated work from the volunteer founders and committees, the Organisation is looking for a Strategic Partnership Manager (12 month contract).
Working with the TechDiversity Executive Director this newly created role will be responsible for identifying, scoping, and developing a #TechDiversity Program that provides year-round and ongoing community engagement. You will develop a deep understanding of diversity initiatives being delivered by Sponsors, Partners, and industry, and how this supports the growth of our local tech sector. With this understanding, you will work with the #TechDiversity Board to develop strategy, communications, and engagement that promotes these initiatives and ensures success in these areas.
You enjoy using your strong communication skills to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels and you have proven success in the development and commercial management of partnerships and strategy formulation. Most importantly, you are passionate about diversity, inclusion and belonging and believe in a thriving local tech sector.
This is a great opportunity to work with Global Tech Leaders and their companies to really move the dial on DEI. You will work with a team that lives its values of supporting each other, continuous learning and having fun. We support and promote work/life balance and flexibility and like the rest of our global team, you can be based anywhere!
