Thank you to all who have submitted a 2021 #TechDiversity Awards nomination so far! We received an influx of nominations over the last few weeks, almost making this the largest number of nominations we’ve ever collected.
As we endeavour to showcase what can be achieved when amplifying diversity and inclusion, here’s a friendly reminder nominations close this Thursday 16 December.
We cannot wait to see more great initiatives, products and programs submitted!
Not sure how or why you should nominate? #TechDiversity Awards Judge Elizabeth Mulhall shares ‘Top 3 Tips’ when submitting a nomination. Watch the 2-minute video:
We invite Australian-based private businesses including startups, academia or research focussed organisations, as well as public sector organisations to nominate tech-driven initiatives, products or programs. As the TechDiversity Awards celebrate innovation, technology, social and environmental impact, we place an emphasis on addressing the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
When you contribute to the awards either by nominating or attending the Gala Dinner, you are meeting five of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals:
#5 Gender Equality
#8 Decent Work & Economic Growth
#9 Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure
#10 Reduced Inequalities
#16 Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
